Description
Selling my Trek Marlin 5 mountain bike from 2022. This is a fantastic entry-to-mid level hardtail mountain bike — it's been ridden around 200 miles on local trails and greenways, and it's in excellent shape. No crashes, no damage, all components work exactly as they should.
The frame is Trek's Alpha Silver Aluminum — lightweight and stiff. Shimano 21-speed drivetrain shifts cleanly throughout the range. The hydraulic disc brakes (front and rear) provide strong, consistent stopping power whether dry or wet. The 29" wheels roll over obstacles easily and keep momentum well.
I bought this for weekend trail riding but have been traveling too much to use it regularly. It deserves a more active owner. Tires have plenty of tread left. Chain was replaced at 150 miles. The saddle is the original Trek one but I can include a gel cover if helpful.
